Bipolar Disorder

A mental health condition causing drastic shifts in a person’s mood, mental status, and energy.

What is it?

Those struggling with Bipolar Disorder can cycle through periods of intense mood states. The severity and symptoms can vary greatly, impacting relationships, daily life, and overall functioning.

The exact cause of bipolar disorder is not known. Research suggests that many factors like genetics, stress, trauma, brain chemistry/structure, and substance use could increase your chance of developing this condition.

Bipolar Disorder can improve with treatment and support. To learn more, schedule an informational call with one of our health navigators.
