Deep feelings of sadness, loss, emptiness, or anger that dramatically impact your life, self-compassion, and relationships.

What is it?

Depression, also known as Major Depressive Disorder or clinical depression, is a mood disorder that can cause severe symptoms, impacting the way you think, feel, and act. These symptoms can last from a few weeks to several years.

The cause of depression can vary from person to person. For some, depression can be triggered by a life event or transition. For others, it can be influenced by family history or physiology. Chronic health conditions, like chronic pain and diabetes can also lead to depression.

Without treatment, depression can get worse and last longer. We’re here to help. We offer a range of services for those struggling with depression. To learn more, schedule an informational call with one of our health navigators.
