Kamryn is a board-certified and licensed physician assistant with experience in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and eating disorders. She considers it a privilege to act as a trusted confidant and medical advisor in a setting where patients are their most vulnerable. She embraces a holistic approach in her practice, emphasizing proper nutrition, regular physical exercise, counseling, and meaningful connections in conjunction with medication where appropriate/desired. She also supports the many options for treatment-resistant conditions offered at Numinus, including psychedelic-assisted therapies, TMS, and other treatments. Kamryn believes strongly in empowering her patients to be active participants in their treatment plans and makes it a point to provide comprehensive and understandable education during her visits.
Kamryn earned her Bachelor of Family Science degree from Utah Valley University with high honors. She later graduated from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Outside of work, Kamryn enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, playing board games, watching movies, and trying new recipes (especially baked goods) with her husband and two children.
“The physician’s duty is not to stave off death or return patients to their old lives, but to take into our arms a patient and family whose lives have disintegrated and work until they can stand back up and face, and make sense of, their own existence.”
― Paul Kalanithi, When Breath Becomes Air
