Martha is a psychotherapist, counsellor and yoga teacher. She has several years of experience working as a clinician in a variety of clinical settings and in leadership roles in the medical startup space. She is a lead facilitator with Numinus Training, teaching a wide range of courses. As a clinician Martha’s practice is person-centred and integrative, applying psychodynamic, transpersonal and somatic approaches to therapy. She has experience working with mood and anxiety disorders, acute and complex trauma, as well as grief, life transitions, identity issues, and stress and burnout. Her focus is on developing a strong therapeutic alliance, allowing clients to connect to their innate abilities to heal, gain resiliency and move towards living a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Martha has experience working in various settings within the psychedelic medicine space. As a clinician, she has helped to design clinical protocols in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and has extensive experience facilitating KAP for individuals and groups. As a trainer, Martha has experience training clinical teams in a collaborative-care model of KAP as well as in designing and facilitating experiential trainings in KAP for healthcare providers. She has also served as a consultant on clinical trials involving novel psychedelic medicines. In her work as a clinician, trainer and consultant, Martha’s mission is to help shape the delivery of psychedelic medicine treatments with ethical integrity and a reverence for both the medicines and each individual’s journey and inner healing abilities.
