Headaches and migraines cause mild to severe head pain that can last seconds to days. Associated symptoms are variable and may include sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, balance problems and dizziness. In some cases, vision, weakness and body sensation changes (“auras”) may occur before or during headaches.

How Does It Work?

In the process of diagnosing and treating headaches, a comprehensive approach will be employed, incorporating both traditional and novel therapies. This strategy may involve a combination of medication and therapeutic interventions to effectively manage the headaches. By utilizing this multifaceted approach, tailored treatment plans can be developed to address the specific needs of each individual and enhance the likelihood of successful headache management.

Psychedelic Therapy for Cluster Headache & Migraine

Our clinic has future plans to explore psychedelic therapy as a treatment for Cluster Headache and Migraine. At present, psychedelic treatments such as psilocybin (sometimes referred to as “magic mushrooms”) for the management of headache are only available through research studies and the special access program in Canada.

Our clinic continues to develop our psychedelic treatment expertise and plans to lead and host future research trials. We currently offer Ketamine-Assisted Therapy for Neurological Conditions. Learn More.
