Eliana Martinez

Eliana Martinez is a Spanish speaking mental health provider. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Brigham Young University and her master’s in social work from the University of Utah. She began her career working as a psychiatric social worker and served ethnically diverse and LGBTQ students and families throughout schools in Los Angeles. She has also worked in the emergency departments; NICU; labor and delivery. Eliana worked in both short term and residential in-patient psychiatric units where she served Military suffering from deployment trauma; patients grappling with symptoms from surviving child abuse; substance abuse; PTSD, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, generational trauma, bi-polar disorder, psychosis, and suicidality and victims of crime. Eliana enjoys teaching others the skills they need to diminish their symptoms and empower them to create positive change.

Carlos Palomo

Carlos has been working as a Clinician since 2016. He spent 7 years working in suicidality, psychosis, and Crisis Intervention. Carlos experience in working with clients in acute distress has given him the opportunity to understand how to best collaborate with clients in creating spaces externally and internally that invoke a sense of safety. This process creates room for vulnerability, awareness and courage to engage with difficult emotions and experiences. His approach is eclectic and curated to optimize facilitation for the client to experience growth and healing. His clinical style is conversational and egalitarian to ensure an open, warm and genuine therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client.

Anja Hedji

Anja is a first-generation immigrant born in former Yugoslavia who has experience working with people of diverse identities. Utilizing a Person-Centered approach, she integrates elements of varying theories to best suit the needs of each individual client. She approaches each client with humility, curiosity and non-judgement, centering an anti-oppressive lens to best understand their experiences.

She believes in the transformative power of creating a safe, collaborative space where healing can unfold naturally. By infusing warmth, understanding, and adaptability into her practice, she aims to empower her clients on their journey towards growth, self-discovery, and resiliency.

As a therapist, she embodies a warm, casual, and relational style. She enjoys finding humor when appropriate, which can be a powerful tool in the therapeutic journey. She embraces flexibility and encourages client feedback throughout the therapeutic relationship.

Andrea Olsen

I am a therapist who empowers you through meaningful care. I have been there - the struggle, the trauma, the trouble navigating difficult and overwhelming feelings, and the pain of not feeling like yourself or having much hope. I know that seeking therapy isn’t an easy step and I commend you for starting your journey by looking to therapy. I am here to support you in finding what is best for you to reach your goals. I help you re-establish your connection to self and gain an intimate understanding of all that is going on physically, spiritually and emotionally. Most of my clients are surprised by the humour and play I bring into our sessions together. Therapy with me is about experiencing all emotions- the fun, the free, the hopeful, as well as processing and giving space for the difficult emotions; the fears, the hurt, the grief, the anger and the sadness.

I use a gentle multi-modal approach rooted in the principles of neuroscience, pulling from therapeutic models such as gestalt therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, person-centred therapy, existential therapy, feminist therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and emotionally focused therapy.

I hold a Masters degree in Counselling. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC, a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and psychotherapist with the CCPA. I am a white, cisgender female. I deeply value allyship with BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and understand privilege and oppression and the roles these play in mental health. I work and live on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Tamara Pearl

Tamara specializes in trauma counselling and psychotherapy. Tamara helps her clients access their own body-based inner wisdom so that they can find answers that are right for them and their life. Body centered approaches are helpful because while our minds are busy trying to figure things out, our body has a sense of what resonates. Approaching difficulties with curiosity and self-compassion allows us to transform and heal, and to connect to new resources.

Tamara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has worked and taught in the field of trauma healing for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including Chopra Addiction and Wellness Centre, Roots to Thrive ketamine assisted therapy program, and teaching for 4 years in Adler University’s Masters of Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy program. She is honoured to accompany people on their healing journey.

She has received specialized training in healing intergenerational, collective and cultural trauma, in Indigenous, Focusing Oriented Therapy for Complex Trauma, and in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy -which helps heal the nervous system.

Areej Siddiqui

I have worked for eight years in generalist practice, and for three years each pursuing specialization in trauma therapy and sex therapy. My approach is grounded in curiosity, discovery, and collaboration. I hold faith in clients’ capacities to direct their own lives, and I enter into the therapeutic process as a reverent and humble companion. Together we might invite the unexpressed, listen for possibility, play with new and different self-narratives, and arrive at ways of moving onward that align with who you would like to be in the world. The ideas I introduce and directions I might pursue with clients are informed by feminist and queer theory, developmental psychology, perspectives on attachment and differentiation, and contemporary nervous system theory. Clients often leave with new understandings of themselves and their difficulties, enabling new and different actions in their lives.

In addition to a Masters in Couple and Family Therapy, I have pursued additional training in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and couples therapy to address sexual issues. I enjoy working with a wide variety of folks—including the consensually non-monogamous, those among the lgbtq2s+, those in multi-cultural families or partnerships, and with experiences of immigration in their family history.

Anna MacGillivray

Anna is passionate about helping her clients pursue healing, growth, and self-understanding. Her approach to counselling is rooted in the idea that the body holds knowledge that cannot always be expressed through words. She aims to offer clients a supportive space to explore their stories: past, present, and future. Anna works with individuals experiencing discomfort in daily living, whether it be struggling with trauma/PTSD, substance use, disordered eating, religious deconstruction/reshaping, relationship struggles, and emotional discomfort. She firmly believes that change is possible through deeper knowledge of self and the integration of the body and mind. Anna is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and with additional training in Emotion Focused Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, trauma informed practice, mindfulness, and yoga. She aims to work alongside clients to help them gain safety and comfort in their bodies, their relationships, and their lives.

Sarah Cimesa

I am proud to be a part of the LGBT-Queer community and am passionate about supporting individuals from all walks of life to share their story. My work is trauma-informed and strengths-based, with experience in supporting clients seeking to gain emotional balance, motivation, empowerment, coping strategies, and self-knowledge.

I completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University, and hold an Honours BA in Psychology with certificate in Communication from the University of Guelph. My clinical focus incorporates elements of:

Rebecca Ziemann

Rebecca is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). She supports her client’s goals to achieve a new balance in their day-to-day life and rediscovering purpose and meaning.

Rebecca’s competencies range from your everyday improvements and insights to severe complex mental health challenges. She has extensive knowledge with Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Worker Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) and clients dealing with personality or mood disorders.

Bob McNutt

Bob McNutt earned his Bachelor’s of Behavioral Science degree from Utah Valley University and his Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. He began his career working with adolescents at inpatient facilities and local schools, helping to improve familial relations, address behavioral issues, create healthy attachments and work toward trauma/PTSD recovery. He also provided intervention for those suffering from suicidality, addictions, chronic depression and anxiety. Bob's passion is in outpatient therapy, working with a wide range of individuals. His focus is assisting people to find better balance and peace in their lives. He is eager to help others overcome mental health and social issues through self-empowerment. Bob works with individuals and couples suffering from a wide range of mental health and relational issues. Bob is known to be blunt in the ways he helps his clients to create lasting change. He is able to work with severe cases of complex trauma, suicidal ideation, addiction, behavioral concerns, exiting abusive relationships along with day to day experiences of depression, anxiety, OCD, sleep disorders and other mental health issues.
