My name is Joshua Fletcher, I have worked in mental health for almost ten years as a nurse and a mental health provider. It is the most fulfilling work I have ever done, and I enjoy listening to people's stories and developing a plan of treatment specific to their needs. Each one of us truly is an individual and there are no simple solutions that work for everyone. Creativity, active listening, and truly having an interest in people are important parts of providing mental health and I want to respect each individual’s personal journey. My experience includes working with Major depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, PTSD, personality disorders and substance abuse. I have experience working with adolescents from 12 years old to adults 65 years old and enjoy working with all ages. I enjoy home renovations, which I am constantly doing at my house, and many outdoor activities including camping, mountain biking, rafting, canyoneering, rock climbing and scuba diving. I enjoy traveling and Costa Rica is my favorite country to visit. I also enjoy reading; I read or listen to audiobooks daily from self-help books to thrillers to epic fantasy novels. Family and spirituality are key things for me in my life, and I have found nature to be very therapeutic for me.
