Carl Lemieux is a Senior Psychologist at Numinus, where he supports leaders, individuals and teams to unleash their full potential, using increased awareness on what it means to have a life of meaning, impact and happiness while identifying and working with those aspects that tend to keep us stuck in our patterns and automatic reflexes. Within organizations, Carl supports clients with cultural transformation services, executive coaching, leadership development and workshops, all of which leverage mindfulness as a strategic lever to enhance organizational and human potential. He works with clients in both English and French. With over 30 years’ experience, Carl has supported the design of complex transformation initiatives and coached executive teams throughout the process. His involvement often starts with defining the corporate strategy & purpose, the required transformation journey and aligning individuals with expected results. Carl is a licensed industrial and organizational psychologist from Université de Montréal and the University of Ottawa, as well as a member of the Quebec Order of Psychologists. He holds an EMBA from Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher (MBSR; Centre for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts) and trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). “The new frontier is not the future but the present moment” Carl’s strengths lie in developing excellence and consciousness in individuals to face an ever-increasing complex and uncertain future. Supported by neuroscience, leading-edge clinical practices and management practices, Carl focuses his practice on developing mindful individuals and organizations, helping individuals develop focus, clarity of thought, creativity, optimize time management, develop resilience, make better decision-making and increase their compassion in the service of others and the organization’s purpose. Carl has been studying happiness, positive psychology, well-being, neurosciences and mindfulness extensively for the last 10 years. His own personal development journey has brought him through silent retreats, self-compassion workshops, MBSR teacher-training programs and numerous trainings in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
