John Ellis, LMFT

John Ellis grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. He earned his bachelor's degree in organizational communications and rhetorical studies from Idaho State University. After furthering his education at Syracuse University in New York, John became a licensed marriage and family therapist. In 2016, John joined the United States Air Force Reserves and was subsequently deployed to the Middle East. Upon his return, John’s passion and perseverance resulted in a grant to treat homeless veterans in a residential clinical program at First Step House. John has spent the last decade of his career treating clients in a variety of settings, including private practices, therapeutic boarding schools, inpatient & outpatient facilities, and residential treatment centers. He specializes in treating children, teens, and adults. When he's not working with clients, John enjoys coaching sports, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
