Doctoral Candidate in Psychology (Supervised Practice)
Megan is a PhD candidate in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. She has regularly worked with a diverse adult clientele with a range of difficulties including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, substance abuse, mood disorders and difficulty with emotion regulation. Megan’s approach is compassionate, authentic, and non-judgmental. She prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and creates an atmosphere of trust and collaboration. Megan draws on best practices from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness and compassion-based therapies to develop a tailored plan for each client. Megan’s therapy style is practical. She guides clients in creating real and lasting changes, leaving them with a sense of confidence and empowerment. Megan offers psychotherapy in English.
