What Are Concussion Services?

Concussion is an injury to the brain that can lead to a variety of different effects physically, emotionally and cognitively. People with concussion can develop a variety of different symptoms, including headaches, memory problems, concentration & attention difficulties, sleep disturbance and more. In some cases, concussion symptoms can persist and this is called Persistent Symptoms after ConcussionPersistent Post-Concussive Symptoms (previously referred to as Post-Concussion Syndrome). 

Our interdisciplinary concussion team provides collaborative treatment to address the complex physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects of concussion and, Persistent Symptoms after Concussion persistent post-concussive symptoms with a focus on long term rehabilitation to help people return to meaningful and functional activities.
