Services for Military and First Responders

A range of mental health services catered to help those in the line of duty.

What Are Services For Military and First Responders?

First responders and those in the military are often exposed to high-stress situations involving trauma, injuries, and death. Over 30% of first responders develop mental health conditions like Depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a result of their work environments, which is incredibly higher than many other professions.

We deeply respect the bravery and sacrifices of our veterans, military personnel, and first responders and we’re here to provide support. Our team is equipped with lived experience in the line of duty, specialized training and expertise to provide care for those with mental health concerns stemming from service and their loved ones. To learn more about the services we offer, book a call with one of our health navigators.

Do I have to pay to be evaluated for treatment?

All assessments are covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). This means that there is no cost to our clients for evaluations and consultations with our medical team.

How long does treatment last?

For depression, TMS treatment is usually broken up into two phases: acute and continuation. The acute phase involves 20-minute treatments, delivered five times each week for four weeks. In the continuation phase, you will receive 10–16 treatments, delivered two times each week.

TMS therapy for OCD involves around 30 treatments, delivered five times each week for six weeks. The first session will be a longer 90–minute session. Each following session will be 40–45 minutes.

How much does a therapy session cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the practitioner and service location. Please contact us at 1-833-NUMINUS (686-4687) or book a call for more information.
