Research on Psilocybin

Research has been carried out on the use of psilocybin-assisted therapy for treating a range of different forms of substance use conditions. This research has shown, for example, that treatment with psilocybin can drastically reduce the number of days that people with alcohol dependence drink after their medically guided psychedelic experience.

What Does Psilocybin Feel Like?

Psilocybin may have strong effects on your state of consciousness, with research suggesting that it creates a state in which the mind opens and expands, as well as potentially bringing about mystical-type experiences. Psilocybin may change your perceptions, possibly reducing feelings of depression, anxiety, and fear. Psilocybin may change the way that you see the world around you, possibly allowing you to make meaningful, positive changes in your life.
