Ben Saxey, PA-C
Ben Saxey earned his Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree from Weber State University. Before going to PA school, he worked as a Microbiologist for a local Utah hospital and the Utah State Health Department. Next, he earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from Idaho State University. He completed an Adult and Child psychiatric rotation through St. Luke’s outpatient clinic and inpatient unit, Canyon View, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Throughout his career, Ben has seen the value and implements holistic change for patients via nutrition and dietary supplementation, exercise, mindfulness, and sleep regulation. Ben is also an advocate for other modalities for treatment of medication resistant disorders that are available at Cedar Psychiatry. Ben is dedicated to educating others on mental illnesses and remedies. He strives to build upon his advanced knowledge of mental health by staying informed on the latest treatments and remedies that are available. Ben actively wants to broaden treatment modalities for mental illness and seeks opportunities for research.
