Bonnie Lenyard | FNP-C PMHNP-BC

Bonnie specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and ADHD. With experience in general neurology and psychiatric medicine, Bonnie is dedicated to critically assessing her clients’ symptoms and providing them with the most accurate diagnosis and best care possible. Bonnie has been working as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) since 2014 in general neurology managing a variety of patients such as those with seizure disorders, MS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, stroke, brain injuries and diseases (such as pseudotumor cerebri), Grave’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Turner’s syndrome, Potts’s disease, Spinal cord injuries and migraines. Bonnie works with patients of all ages to help achieve better mental health. She is dual certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health disciplines. She has been in healthcare for over 32 years, a Registered Nurse for over 27 years with her last eight years as RN at Mayo Clinic in surgery. She has always considered it a privilege to be able to help others and enjoys learning about new products and techniques to help her patients. Bonnie enjoys volunteer work, such as working with Free Arts for Abused Children AZ, a non-profit organization that provides free art and music lessons to at-risk children in the foster and detention system. She has been married for 27 years to her USAF retired husband. They have four children and she is also a USAF veteran herself, serving four years active and four years active reserve during nursing school
