Cheri Mills, DSW, LCSW
Cheri Mills earned her Bachelor of Arts in Deaf Studies from Utah Valley University, her Master of Social Work from Gallaudet University, and her Doctor of Social Work from Capella University. Cheri has experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse issues, childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual trauma, various mental health issues, and Veterans who struggle with PTSD and TBIs. Cheri is a trauma informed therapist who strongly believes that her clients are the experts in their lives. She enjoys working with individuals to uncover their inner strengths, find the strengths and positives that come from the darkest times, and empower them to find their voice. She creates a safe space for her clients by building a trusting and healthy provider-client relationship where the client knows that their voice matters. She is able to achieve this by using a holistic treatment approach and adapting modalities to meet the client where they are at along their journey of healing.
