Christopher Sorensen, MD
Dr. Sorensen (he/they) received his doctorate degree in medicine from Ohio State University in 2010. Throughout his career, Dr. Sorensen has worked in pharmacies, clinics, start-ups and hospitals across the globe. With a focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Sorensen works with clients to incorporate their unique culture, spiritual beliefs, medical issues and preferences into a personalized and effective treatment plan. Dr. Sorensen has experience treating adults, older adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, and recent immigrants. Although he focuses on medication management, Dr. Sorensen also provides brief therapy in his sessions and coordinates with additional therapists, primary care providers, and other medical specialists where needed. For gender diverse patients he can provide hormone confirmation treatment when appropriate. Dr. Sorensen offers his clients access to TMS and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as well as more traditional therapies. Although he discusses new treatment options with his clients when appropriate, Dr. Sorensen works to simplify medication treatments with the goal of increasing each patient’s quality of life.
