Dr. Krista Pratte (She/Her)


Krista Pratte holds a PsyD in psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and is a licensed member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Concordia University. She completed her training in the Anxiety Disorders Program (including the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders Clinic) and the Bariatric Psychology Program at the Allan Memorial Institute. She also trained at the Centre de Services Psychologiques de l’UQAM in Schema Focused Therapy.

Krista has experience with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders and related body image issues. Her approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema focused therapy and mentalization based modalities. Her style is warm, authentic, empathetic and flexible. She takes a collaborative approach where both client and therapist work as a team and play an active role in therapy. This approach aims to understand the person as a whole in order to increase awareness and foster change, allowing one to lead a rich and full life.
