Elyssa is a genuine and warm therapist committed to treating people with care, respect and compassion. She supports people who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and other challenges that come with being human. She also provides preparation and integration support for people who use psychedelics.
Elyssa uses an evidence-based therapeutic approach to help people recognize their strengths, resources and patterns, and improve their relationships with themselves, others and the world. Depending on each person’s values, needs and wishes, she may work with them to address biological, psychological, relational and/or spiritual aspects of their wellbeing.
Elyssa approaches her work with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow. She holds a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and has completed additional training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Gottman Method couples therapy.
