Heather Brady | LPC
After receiving her master’s degree with distinction in clinical mental health counseling, Heather’s journey as an individual and group therapist began in residential treatment, where she specialized in acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, with diverse youth and their families. Her clinical work includes skill-coping development, attachment and communication improvements, and behavioral modification. Heather also worked as clinical coordinator and continues to serve her community as supervisor for various mental health programs as well as developer of human trafficking awareness and recovery programs in both residential and outpatient settings. As an Arizona native, Heather spent her youth as a devoted singer, dancer, and actor. Through many life challenges, including sustaining a performance injury, Heather cultivated the seeds planted through spirituality, therapy, and determination to grow and thrive beyond life’s obstacles. Heather’s career path and life experiences have exposed her to a wide variety of individuals from all walks of life who have shared their wisdom, supporting her in her transition from performer to therapist, and she has never looked back. For Heather, there has never been a more meaningful and valued role than that of a healing helper. Heather chose to become a therapist to contribute to the enlightenment of humankind. She believes in providing a transcendent experience for all, thereby tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs. Heather’s education and experience have taught her to celebrate each person’s story as they all deserve honor. Through this honor of our stories, may we find peace.
