Jania Davis | DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Jania Davis is a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in treating children and adolescents with 18 years of experience in the family behavioral health field. She is dedicated to pursuing the latest and most advanced treatments and interventions available in psychiatry today. Her experience in acute child and adolescent psychiatry cultivated a passion to treat at-risk youth by bringing consistency and stability to the lives of children and adolescents who feel unheard, find it difficult to communicate their needs, feel dysfunction, inconsistency, or have experienced trauma. Jania combines psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches, with an individualized treatment plan to find a consistent and strong foundation for self-awareness and behavior change focusing on patient autonomy, psychoeducation and incorporating a thorough multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to wellness. Jania brings nearly two decades of experience in the family behavioral health field. Her experience as a psychiatric nurse is in multiple treatment settings for children, adults, and geriatrics. As a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she has treated and diagnosed mental health disorders in geriatric psychiatry, chemical dependency, adult general mental, child and adolescents in the acute inpatient and outpatient settings with extensive experience with the adolescent population. In 2021, Jania and her team at St. Luke’s Behavioral Health won the MercyCare RISE Award for Advocacy and Collaboration for developing and implementing a specialized program for youth victims of sex trafficking. Jania completed her Doctoral studies, Magna Cum Laude at Arizona State University. Her practice philosophy begins with a foundational and unwavering belief in the human ability to succeed with change and resiliency.
